This was supposed to be an entry for =Nyxens autumn contest. Unfortunelty she had some very bad news and called the contest off... So I've decided to dedicate the piece to her instead.
Feedback is welcome, but not required, so if you have something helpful to add for future reference for me, please do tell.
I wanted a very misty, gloomy feel to the image, but have it reach for light and hope. The title refers to the grey gloomy sky, that is lit to colors by the light. Working name was reach. Couldn't tell you how many hours as I've been working on it for a good while now on and off and haven't kept track, sorry! ^^

Its very, very lovely <3 If you're looking for critique I would say the wings should start up just a little higher on the shoulder, it looks here like they start nearer to the middle of the back But awesome over all and im a huge fan of your work!!!
This is beautiful. The lighting in the piece is so powerful, and I love the way the pegasus is lunging up into the light, it's very emotive and the shading is wonderful Classy work!
